Where Science Meets Story with Katrina Miller of the New York Times

Katrina Miller, an award-winning science reporter for The New York Times, will speak about her pivot from basic science research to reporting on science. She will discuss the different ways people communicate science today, how she crafts her own stories about science, and the current responsibility and future role of science journalism.

About the Speaker

Katrina Miller is a reporter at The New York Times, where she mostly covers the stars but is also interested in the intersection of science and society. She earned her Ph.D. in particle physics at the University of Chicago in 2023.
