Eligibility:

• Attended a UTNY information session (required before acceptance)
• 3.0+ GPA at UT Austin
• Fewer than two years before graduation when arriving in New York
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated in a well-written and substantive application
• Work and/or internship experience in their field during college
• A professionally-formatted resume with exclusively post-high school achievements
• Familiarity and record of engagement with the UTNY program

About the UTNY Program

UT in New York is a pre-professional program offered fall, spring, and summer that provides UT Austin students of all majors the chance to live, work and learn in one of the most dynamic metropolitan cities in the world.  Students take in-person UT Austin classes at our UTNY Center in Manhattan, complete an independent study or internship in the industry of their choice, and immerse themselves in the city’s opportunities all while expanding their professional network.
