At UT Austin, you can cultivate your creative voice and become an expert in all facets of narrative and documentary film production while developing lifelong collaborative relationships with peers, alumni, and faculty.
Our professors, who are both specialists in the entertainment industry and committed to teaching, will support you with individualized mentorship while you have the opportunity to direct at least two portfolio-quality films. In addition to building the skills for a career as a filmmaker, you’ll earn the credentials to teach at the university level.
