RTF Presents: Advance Screening of KEEPER

The Department of Radio-Television-Film and NEON present an advance screening of the horror film KEEPER, followed by a conversation with KEEPER producer Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and RTF Screenwriting Area Head, Maya Perez. The screening will start at 6 pm, and the conversation will immediately follow.

BRIAN KAVANAUGH-JONES

Brian Kavanaugh-Jones is Co-President of Film & Production at Range Media Partners, alongside Fred Berger. Prior to their merger with Range in June 2023, Kavanaugh-Jones and Berger produced over 80 films under their Automatik banner, including Damien Chazelle’s LA LA LAND, Jeff Nichols’ films TAKE SHELTER, MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, and LOVING, as well as the INSIDIOUS Chapters, the SINISTER series, and THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE.

Since joining Range, Kavanaugh-Jones and Berger have released several films including the recent Bob Dylan biopic, A COMPLETE UNKOWN, starring Timothee Chalamet with James Mangold directing which received 8 Academy Award nominations and THE MONKEY starring Theo James with Oz Perkins directing. Kavanaugh-Jones also produced Oz Perkin’s film LONGLEGS which was 2024’s highest grossing indie movie. Not long before that film, THE BIKERIDERS, written and directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy, was released theatrically to critical acclaim. Kavanaugh-Jones and Berger have numerous projects in the works including SHELL, Max Minghella’s body horror feature which premiered at TIFF this past year starring Kate Hudson, Elisabeth Moss, and Kaia Gerber; Lance Oppenheim’s PRIMETIME with Robert Pattinson, Will Eubank’s THE LAST DRUID with Russell Crowe, as well as BLACK RABBIT, a Netflix television series starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman.
