Speaker Biography

Lee Solomon is a Partner on the Private Equity team at Apollo Global Management covering all aspects of Media and Entertainment (including Sports and Music). Mr. Solomon  joined Apollo in October of 2009. Mr. Solomon has over 28 years of experience in operating and investing in private and public media companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of Legendary Entertainment, Yahoo, World Choice Investments, The ADT Corporation, Coinstar, EcoATM, Cox Media Group and Gamut Holdings. 

He previously served on the board of directors of AMC Entertainment, Endemol Shine Group, Redbox Automated Retail, and Mood Media. Before joining Apollo, Mr. Solomon has held numerous executive positions in the media industry.  He has produced and distributed multiple film and television programs throughout his career.  He received his MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University and graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in economics and political science. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife and three children. He loves skiing, golf, and watching his sons play lacrosse.
