Speaker Biography
Ashley started as President at Screen Gems last November. The Sony division just wrapped production on Until Dawn based on the PlayStation game in Budapest. David Sandberg directed with Gary Dauberman, Roy Lee, PlayStation, Lotta Lotsen and David producing. Ashley is also overseeing the next installment of I Know What You Did Last Summer, which starts shooting at the end of the month. Before becoming a part of the Sony family, she was at Paramount Pictures where she oversaw some of the most successful genre films. She previously served as Senior EVP at Paramount, as well as Head of Development at Paramount Players. Over her nearly 15-year tenure at Paramount, she developed and oversaw the Paranormal Activity franchise, the critically acclaimed A Quiet Place franchise, along with the new Scream installments, The Lost City with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, Mean Girls the Musical, If, sleeper hits Crawl and Pet Sematary, Baywatch, The Devil Inside, and Bryan Bertino’s film Vicious which will be released next year. She began her film career at DreamWorks.
