Dr. Ricardo Villarreal De Silva will lead this talk with a brief lecture followed by a panel to discuss aspects of self identity and how it relates to brands and branding. Dr. Ricardo Villarreal De Silva is an Associate Professor and was former Chair of the Marketing department at the University of San Francisco School of Management. Holding a Ph.D. in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin, his expertise lies in consumer behavior, particularly segmentation within multicultural contexts. He has significantly contributed to the field via his involvement in two key consumer behavior studies, pioneering multicultural marketing and offering valuable insights into U.S. Hispanics’ consumer behavior.
