The Ann and David Chappell Lecture on September 10 will feature Chancellor James B. Milliken from University of Texas System discussing leading positive change in higher education.
The University of Texas System comprises 14 academic and health institutions, with more than 256,000 students and 122,000 faculty and staff. Chancellor Milliken has served in this role as the UT System’s CEO since 2018, overseeing a distinct period of record growth in enrollment, research and philanthropy, as well as significant expansion of the system’s health enterprise.
Chancellor Milliken holds the Lee Hage and Joseph D. Jamail Regents Chair in Higher Education Leadership and is a sought-after voice in public higher education as a leader with more than three decades of experience. As an executive, the Chancellor works to identify and leverage the strengths of UT institutions to serve the ever-evolving needs of Texans and fulfill the system’s important missions in education, discovery and healthcare.
